Speed Ski is a fascinating sport discipline that combines technology, material, and skiing skills. The ultimate goal is to reach the maximum speed on a straight steep snowtrack. It is the fastest non-motorized sport. Simone Origone (Italy) established the current Speed Ski world record in April 2006 with 251,4 km/h (157,3 mph).
